People who build things
Engineers, designers, PMs, founders, and everyone else holding the roadmap together.
"I'm fine. I'm just busy."
"I check Slack before I'm out of bed."
"My chest gets tight before every review."
"I can't remember my last real weekend."
"Everyone else seems to be handling it."
"I don't know who I am without this job."
If one of those landed, you're in the right place. You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to start. "Something's off and I'd like it not to be" is enough.
The work is the context. It's rarely the whole story.
People usually come in about the job: the pace, a bad manager, a layoff, a launch that took more than it should have. Then it turns out the job is touching everything else too: sleep, relationships, how you talk to yourself.
An honest answer, either way.
This is for you if
- You work in tech, or close to it, and the pace is costing you.
- You want practical tools, not just someone to talk at.
- You're curious about what your body is telling you.
- You're in California, or can meet in person in San Francisco.
This may not be right if
- You're in crisis right now. Call 911.
- You're looking for medication. As an LMFT, I don't prescribe, but I can help you find someone who does.
